Laparaoscopic Surgery / Endometriosis
There are almost no limits to minimally invasive surgical techniques nowadays as a result of ever-improving imaging and increasingly sophisticated instrumentation. After a complete laparoscopic resection, endometriosis patients, in particular, can enjoy a largely symptom-free life again. It is also not uncommon for these types of patients to conceive naturally after the intervention without any further medical intervention.
The enormous advances in minimally invasive surgery mean that our team of specialists can now perform more and more gynaecological operations with minimal bleeding and extremely tissue-sparing interventions. By dispensing with abdominal incisions, patients recuperate much faster after the operation. Post-operative pain is reduced to a minimum and the hospital stay is shortened to a few days.
In our state-of-the-art 3D fully digital operating theatre, even complex surgical interventions using buttonhole technology (laparoscopy) can be performed. The resolution and spatial visualisation are so good that interventions can be performed with a high precision and with very few side effects.
