Medical Partnership with the EVZ: new teams of doctors

Zuger Kantonsspital is expanding its collaboration with the EVZ. From now on, the Women’s Team will also be looked after by a team doctor at every home match.

Since 2006, Zuger Kantonsspital has been the EVZ’s Official Medical Partner. As part of an expanded partnership, the Women’s Team will now also receive more comprehensive medical care: at every home match and away play-off match, the Zug women’s team will in future be looked after on site by a team doctor. Dr. med. Harald Leemann, MSc heads the three-strong medical team, which is complemented by Dr. med. Jens Gütler and Dr. med. Daniel Wegmann.

Dr. med. Beat Schwegler remains the head team doctor for the men’s team. He is now supported by Dr. med. Markus Keller and Dr. med. Urs Hefti. Both are specialists in orthopaedics and traumatology and work at the Praxis Sportmedizin Cham. Dr. med. Res Rindlisbacher remains the EVZ’s medical consultant.

We wish the EVZ a successful season with as few injuries as possible.
