About Zuger Kantonsspital

The Zuger Kantonsspital comprises four clinics: the Surgical Clinic, the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, the Medical Clinic and the Women's Health Clinic. These specialist areas are complemented by the Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, including an intensive care ward, the Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Department, and the interdisciplinary Emergency Centre.

Here for your health

At Zuger Kantonsspital, we combine humanity with professionalism. Every day, around 1,200 staff members dedicate themselves to the health and wellbeing of our patients with expertise, commitment and empathy. We listen, take individual needs seriously and build trust.

As an acute care hospital serving the canton of Zug and neighbouring regions, we offer comprehensive medical care. Our four clinics, the A&E department and the departments of Anaesthesia/Intensive Care and Radiology work closely together in an interdisciplinary manner. Each year, we treat and care for around 12,000 in-patients and 70,000 out-patients.

Well-connected. There for you personally.

Effective treatment requires trust and good collaboration. That is why we work closely with GPs, specialists and other partners in the healthcare sector. In this way, we provide our patients with comprehensive and well-coordinated care, from diagnosis through treatment to aftercare.

As one of the region’s largest employers, we also take our responsibilities seriously. We offer attractive working conditions and a wide range of training and development opportunities, and create an environment in which our staff can develop both professionally and personally.
