Travel medicine and vaccinations

Consultations on travel medicine and vaccinations take place in the Infectious Diseases Department.

Please get in touch with us if you

  • are planning a trip or a longer stay in another country. Ideally, a travel medicine consultation should take place 4 to 6 weeks before departure. Of course, we are also here to help with any symptoms you may experience after returning from your trip.
  • would like general advice on vaccinations.
  • need advice on specific vaccination issues, for example due to chemotherapy, a transplant, immunosuppressive medication, immunodeficiencies, asplenia or allergies, as well as Covid-19.

Vaccinations can be administered directly during consultation hours. Certain vaccinations (including seasonal flu and TBE) for healthy individuals aged 16 and over can also be administered at our pharmacy without a medical consultation. You can find information on this here.
