At the Brustzentrum Zürich Zug, we treat patients at Zuger Kantonsspital in collaboration with experienced partners – with professional expertise and a great deal of empathy. This enables those affected to benefit from comprehensive breast care based on the latest research.

What is the Breast Centre Zürich Zug?

A breast centre brings together all the specialist disciplines required for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. The Breast Centre Zürich Zug is a partnership between Zuger Kantonsspital and Zurich Triemli City Hospital. For radiation oncology and pathology, we also collaborate with Luzerner Kantonsspital (LUKS). This ensures that the expertise of several specialist centres is incorporated into every treatment.

Q-Label certification

As a breast centre, we are working towards certification under the Swiss Cancer League’s Q-Label. This label confirms that a breast centre meets defined quality standards in diagnostics, treatment and aftercare. The partners involved are included in the certification process. The label is expected by the end of 2026, as the requirements have been met.

  • Breast consultation
  • Diagnosis and treatment of chest pain and benign or malignant changes in the breast
  • Advice and support from our Breast and Cancer Care Nurses
  • Consultation and treatment for uneven or asymmetrical breast size or shape, whether resulting from previous surgery or present from birth
  • Breast diagnostics
  • Drug-based treatments (including, amongst others, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and hormone therapy)
  • Medical Training Therapy (MTT)
  • Surgical treatments/procedures, including plastic surgery (Affidea Plastic Surgery Group)
  • Physiotherapy: complex decongestive therapy/oedema therapy (manual lymphatic drainage/compression)
  • Genetic counselling and testing in cases of suspected hereditary cancer within the fields of breast medicine and gynaecology
