Doctors

Are you interested in training with us as a junior doctor? Are you a junior doctor looking to specialise? Zuger Kantonsspital is recognised as a training centre in the fields of medicine, surgery, orthopaedics and traumatology, gynaecology, and anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. We have around 10 training places for junior doctors and over 80 posts for assistant doctors.

Information for doctors from abroad

All persons practising a university-level medical profession must be registered in the Register of Medical Professions and possess the necessary language skills for the practice of their profession. Please note the registration requirement set out by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) for all university-trained medical professionals working in Switzerland.
