Ergotherapy

The Occupational Therapy department at Zuger Kantonsspital helps you to regain or maintain your ability to function and your independence in everyday life. Our team treats in-patient and out-patient patients with the aim of enabling them to return to work and everyday life as quickly as possible.

What is occupational therapy?

Occupational therapy helps people whose ability to carry out daily activities is limited by illness, an accident or a disability. The aim is to enable you to perform everyday tasks – from getting dressed and running the household to carrying out your job – as independently as possible once again. To this end, our occupational therapists assess your individual situation and draw up a treatment plan that is tailored precisely to your needs.
